Now one can take a look at Belogradchik rocks without the necessity to visit the unique area in person. The only thing which you need to do is to visit the website Bulgaria-vr.com-Virtual Bulgaria. The internet page, representing the unique formations is a part of the project “Virtual Bulgaria” and it includes 3-D view of more than 150 places of national importance, among which are Seven Rila Lakes, Perperikon, Boyana Church, National History Museum, Tsarevets Hill.
The Ministry of Education announced that virtual sceneries will be also incorporated into the program of high school students.
Globally the project is not the only one of its kind worldwide. The author of the project revealed the distinction of the Bulgarian version. “There is not similar project on the national level. There is a project which show only lakes, houses, but no project which represents the cultural inheritance of a country in such a proper manner. It is expected that soon the project will be accompanied by sound, video and comprehensive information. Many links will be also included, and thus everyone who is interested can touch Bulgarian spirit and history.”, added the author of the project.
Everyone can take delight in the 3-D version of Bulgaria's landmarks and nature, but it really worth visiting!Back to list
