Bulgaria and Czech Republic to co-operate in the field of wine tourism

The ambassador of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria, Martin Klepetko and the governor of Blagoevgrad Vladimir Dimitrov discussed the opportunities for co-operation in the field of tourism at a meeting. The main accent during the meeting was spheres of co-operation between Bulgaria and Czech Republic, particularly Southwestern region in relation to tourism. The ambassador was particularly interested in the development of wine-producing in the region of Blagoevgrad.
The ambassador also added that there is a bright future for the mutual relations in the field of cultural tourism. Moreover, the so called “wine paths” which are popular in Czech Republic, can be also successfully developed in Blavoevgrad region.
