Influx of foreign tourist to Bulgarian mineral baths

Tourists from Germany, Spain, and Denmark have showed great interest in the spa resorts in Bulgaria and Bulgaria’s mineral baths. 187 of the total of 228 health funds in Germany have showed their interest to cooperate with Bulgarian balneology resorts.
Their health insurance funds have signed contracts this spring, but continue negotiating the healing procedures for their patients and this process is likely to finish in September or October, was announced by the Alliance of the Balneology medics in Bulgaria.
It has turned out that mud baths in Pomorie are the most preferred healing destination for tourists. The foreign funds prefer to send their patients in countries which are associated with cheaper quality medical services, because as procedures should start with medical examinations and medical surveillance.

On the other hand, the foreign tourists prefer Bulgaria for its cheaper hotels, nutritious food and good services.
The deposits of healing mud in Varna, Pomorie and Balchik are unique of their kind in Europe. They possess excellent mineral characteristics and are particularly suitable for healing and prophylaxis of diseases of the locomotive system, psoriasis and gynecology problems, announced the newspaper Monitor.

The other advantage of Bulgaria is that 85% of our water supplies are have low mineralization and therefore are suitable for healing and prophylaxis of many diseases, whereas European resorts have just 5% of this kind of water resources.
