Municipality Tryavna develops eco tourism

Cultural and eco tourism are developing pretty well in Tryavna Municipality, announced the town’s mayor. The summer season has started very well. Foreign groups of tourists come mainly from Germany.
In the mayor’s words, the well developed is the cultural tourism as Tryavna is a town boasting rich cultural heritage. Tourists explore the church “St. Archangel Michael”, the famous landmark “Daskalova house”, as well as the old school.
Eco tourism is also on the right way. There are many eco paths in the region, leading to Bozhentsi, Buzovets, Krustets to where the relics of St.Ivan Rilski were transferred. Families and groups like to visit those places and then to come back to Tryavna. It is important to mention hereby that the predominant part of Nature Park “Bulgarka” is located on the territory of the municipality.
Investors have started projects in some of the villages part of the municipality. Vacation villages and eco complexes are being set up. People have also shown interest in renovating old village houses. Some of the investors are foreigners. Biking alleys have been also constructed for the keen bicycle riders.
Demiertsi is one of the places where houses absorbing serious investment have been constructed. It is foreseen that more village resorts will be built to meet the increasing demand of lodgings.
Tourists prefer to visit Tryavna in July and August in the summer season. There are two functioning outdoor swimming pools in the towns Tryavna and Plachkovtsi.
