Skiers to have one ski pass card for Chepelare and Pamporovo

It is considered that the issuance of a common ski passcard for Chepelare and Pamporovo skiing resort will turn the two winter venues for a winter sports complex, similar to those in Austria. The idea has been launched by the Chepelare Municipality.
It is important to note that prices for perfect holiday in the snow in Chepelare winter sports resort are the cheapest in comparison with all Bulgaria’s skiing resorts. It will be the first time when the union of hotel owners has decided to offer attractive packages, including accommodation, breakfast and lift passes. There are from 3 to 7 day packs as prices start from 160 BGN.
Low temperatures in Chepelare allowed the system for artificial snow to be put into motion and at many places the main ski track is covered with snow. In order for the whole area to be snow covered, 100 hours are needful.
The lift at Mechi Chal Peak will be working free of charge until the 11th of December. The facility has a capacity for 2000 tourists per hour and the distance can be taken up for 9 minutes. Lift passes for skiers who are 70-year-old are free of charge. Chepelare has its disposal children playground and an excellent ski school.
