The 16th Holiday of the plum and the famous Bulgarian rakia

The holiday of the plum and Troyanska rakia, made of plums, begins at 10:30 today in the village of Oreshak.

Acknowledged masters will make demonstrations of boiling the traditional plum rakia.A competition for the best homemade Plum pakia and Culinary competition for dishes, made of plums will be also held. Guests can take the opportunity of attending the bazaar of Troyan Plum Rakia, dried plums, traditional Plums pestil and handicraft art.

The fiesta of traditional rakia continues in the town of Troyan at 4 o’clock.
Cook masters of prestigious Troyan hotels will reveal their skills at the Culinary Competition for plums’ menu.
Guests can also see the making of plums’ jam, a competition for the best carnival costume, entertaining children’s competitions, all garnished with laughter, songs, dances and plenty of surprises.
